Folk tour of the week: Roy Harper, various venues

Hats off to Roy Harper, indeed, as he returns to the South Bank, following his triumphant 70th birthday concert in 2011, with his first album in 13 years, Myth and Man.

He's joined by guitarist Jonathan Wilson, his new record's co-producer, who plays an opening set and joins Harper along with a string ensemble led by Fiona Brice, orchestral arranger for artists including Kanye West, as Harper plays new songs, plus a side order of old favourites from a pungent life's journey through British folk and rock.
