Brit Awards 2021: Dua Lipa and Griff to perform at live ceremony
News comes ahead of the nominations announcement today (Wednesday 31 March)
Dua Lipa and Rising Star winner Griff are the first artists to be announced to perform at the Brit Awards 2021.
The announcement comes ahead of the nominations, which will be revealed at 4pm today (Wednesday 31 March) across the online Brits platforms.
Dua Lipa has previously enjoyed major success at the UK awards ceremony, picking up wins for British Breakthrough Act and British Female Solo Artist in 2018.
In 2019, she won Best British Single for her collaboration with Calvin Harris, “One Kiss”, which she performed on the night.
“I am so excited to be returning to perform for you all at the Brits this year. It’s going to be truly special to be back on stage in the UK,” she said in a statement on this year’s ceremony.

Griff admitted she was nervous about her debut performance, commenting: “Guys, pray for me!! I’m going to be in a room full of the biggest and best artists in the world, singing my little heart out. I can’t wait!!!!”
The 2021 Brit Awards take place on Tuesday 11 May at the O2 Arena and will be broadcast on ITV.
