David Bowie's death has sent shockwaves through the music world, with fans turning to his brilliant, extensive catalogue of hits to remind themselves just how iconic, bewitchingly fabulous and ever-changing the “Ziggy Stardust” singer really was.
Best known for his ground-breaking style in the Seventies, his legacy of hugely influential songs will continue to inspire young musicians.

Bowie died on Monday 11 January after being diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago. His publicist released a statement and his son confirmed the news by tweeting a photo of himself with his father.
