Glastonbury Festival 2016: Coldplay favourites to headline
Foo Fighters and Adele also strongly tipped to top the Pyramid stage
Glastonbury Festival tickets sold out in just over half an hour and - as always - the bookies have announced their favourites to headline the Worthy Farm bash.
Last month, Ladbrokes said Foo Fighters were the favourites, closely followed by Adele and Coldplay. Now, William Hill have revealed who they believe to be taking the top spot on the bill. To absolutely no one’s surprise, it’s Coldplay.
Chris Martin’s band have headlined the festival three times prior - in 2002, 2005 and 2011 - and are currently working on their seventh album, A Head Full of Dreams.

Coming in just behind the ‘Yellow’ hitmakers is Adele, and then Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl and his motley crew were booked to headline last year’s festival but dropped out after Grohl broke his leg.
Here is William Hill’s list in full.
