Rihanna is set to perform at the Grammys next month with Paul McCartney and Kanye West, according to reports.

The singer will take to the stage to perform her new single “Four Five Seconds”, which also features the rapper and former Beatle.

The “Diamonds” singer released the single on iTunes at the weekend to the surprise of her fans.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Rihanna’s seriously pleased to have bagged a big slot at The Grammys and two huge names to kick off her comeback.

“Paul McCartney’s a Grammys regular and it will give Rihanna serious kudos to have a Beatle backing her on stage.”

The reports have not been confirmed and Rihanna’s representatives have yet to respond to a request for comment.

If the Bajan singer does perform, she will join artists including Madonna, AC/DC, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Usher, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert and Sam Smith, who are already confirmed to take to the stage.

The ceremony, which will be hosted by LL Cool J, will take place on Sunday 8 February at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

Rihanna has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Rap / Sung Collaboration category for “The Monster” with Eminem.
