Kate Bush releasing live DVD of comeback gigs

Ticket-goers have reported receiving an email announcing the 'late decision'

Kate Bush looks set to release a DVD of her comeback London gigs, after some ticketholders reportedly received emails informing them that their seats had been moved to make room for camera crews.

"Unfortunately due to a late decision to film the show for a DVD release we have had to relocate you from your original seat," the message sent to affected fans attending gigs on 16 and September read, according to the Guardian.

"We have ensured that you and your party are moving to a seat that is in the same or higher price bracket."

The "Running Up That Hill" singer had previously requested that fans do not photograph or record videos of her Eventim Apollo shows, which have drawn five star reviews from critics.

"I very much want to have contact with you as an audience, not with iPhones, iPads or cameras," she wrote.

Bush, 56, made UK chart history last month when she became the first female artist to have eight albums in the Top 40 at once.

She is playing 22 dates in her first concerts since her only proper tour in 1979. Tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes in March.
