One Direction member Niall Horan: 'I was not in a car crash'
The pop star has rubbished reports in today's Sun newspaper that he was involved in a car smash
Niall Horan of boy band One Direction has taken to Twitter to refute a report in a tabloid newspaper that he had been in a car crash.
Regarding an article printed in The Sun accompanied by a picture of a black Range Rover mounted on the kerb of a dual carriageway, Horan tweeted: “I was not in a crash and that is not my car”.
The article claims Horan was left stranded after his car skidded on ice and titled on two wheels before straddling a crash barrier.
It quotes witnesses describing Horan, 19, climbing shakily from the front passenger seat.
It claims Horan and his One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson were on the way home from Heathrow after catching a flight from Japan.
Horan put the record straight in a single tweet to his 9,300,000 followers this morning.
