The Prodigy and Paul Weller have been revealed as headliners alongside The Libertines and Kaiser Chiefs at Victorious Festival 2018, The Independent can reveal.

The Southsea event will host The Prodigy in a UK festival exclusive. Also announced in the new wave of acts are Paloma Faith, Friendly Fires, Years & Years, and Everything Everything.

Faith will be performing some of her biggest hits including tracks from her latest, double-platinum album The Architect, while Years & Years return to the festival circuit: hopefully airing some new material from their hugely anticipated second album.

Acts already announced include Example, The Amazons, Billy Bragg, Coasts, Genghar, and Yonaka, the latter of whom were named on The Independent's "Ones to Watch" list for 2018.

Festival director Andy Marsh said: "We're tremendously excited about this year's festival. We were determined to pull out all the stops and deliver something incredible, and I'm proud to say I think it's our best lineup yet.

"With plenty more to announce in the coming months it's safe to say Victorious 2018 is going to be truly spectacular, we can't wait!"

Friday tickets are available from £30, Saturday and Sunday day tickets at £35. Victorious Festival takes place from 24-26 August 2018.
