The Weeknd’s VMAs 2015 Apple Music commercials make no goddamn sense

When you're so faded it looks like John Travolta is driving your limo

It's hard to make an app cool, so Apple has thrown a ton of money, The Weeknd and John Travolta at its music service.

An advert dropped in two parts today, seeing The Weeknd getting off stage following his MTV VMAs performance and jumping in a limo to head to an after party.

First off, watch them both:

Key questions and moments:

- Why is there a car on fire? Why isn’t The Weeknd at the very least alerting the authorities?

- What kind of maniac looks at a flaming wreck then whips out his phone to check out what Zane Lowe’s up to on the radio?

- This ‘I hope they’re paying me handsomely for this’ smile:

- Why is John Travolta driving the limo?! Is it some kind of movie reference I’m missing? Why doesn’t he know the destination? This is a highly questionable limo service.

- When you realise John Travolta is in charge of your personal safety:

- "The hills after party" is a really confusing destination.

- Why is The Weeknd adding his own songs to a playlist? Surely he’s got that sh*t offline already?

- Who makes a playlist about having a party while at a party anyway?
