With Urban Turban, Tjinder Singh reinforces his position as one of the UK's more engaging musical minds, Cornershop's Indo-funk fusion-pop further expanded here through a series of guest singers.

There's French vocalist Celeste, cool and stylish over the brisk electropop itch of "Non-Stop Radio"; Katie, soulful on the pulsing eccentricity of "Solid Gold"; and rapper In Light of Aquarius, decrying the state of hip-hop on "Milkin' It". Best of all, though, are the children of Castle Hill Primary School, singing along on the woozily charming "What Did the Hippie Have in His Bag?".
