Album: The Rolling Stones, Some Girls (Deluxe Edition) (A&M)
Not their finest, most coherent moment by any means, despite "Miss You".
And interesting to see that a few of the unused songs from the period (1978) push the released material for quality. Chief stonker is "Claudine", an Ian Stewart-powered runaway train in the style of Jerry Lee Lewis, which must challenge "Rip This Joint" for the status of fastest flyer in the Stones canon. Otherwise it's a scritchy 12-cut patchwork of country, blues and balladry, as you'd expect.
