The series that is responsible for catapulting unknown reality TV stars to even higher echelons of fame is back for its 14th year.
While George Galloway’s cat-like milk drinking and Jade Goody’s racist jibes towards Shilpa Shetty may stick out clearer in your mind than the past winners, take a look to see if you remember any of them:
Jack Dee – 2001
Jack Dee won the first ever Celebrity Big Brother back in the day when the celebrities competed for charity rather than a lump sum to keep for themselves. Series one lasted just eight days and featured Anthea Turner, Chris Eubank, Claire Sweeney, Keith Duffy and Vanessa Feltz.
Mark Owen – 2002
Take That's Mark Owen won the show in its second year, although you may remember Les Dennis' melancholic moping about the house more after he split from his ex-wife Amanda Holden.
Mark ‘Bez’ Berry – 2005
Happy Mondays member Bez was the first winner to receive prize money for taking part in the show, earning £50,000.
Chanetelle Houghton – 2006
George Galloway may be best-remembered for lapping up milk from the floor like a the cat in this series, but it was Chantelle Houghton - the first non celebrity to enter the CBB house - that took the crown.
Shilpa Shetty – 2007
In probably the most infamous CBB to date, Shilpa Shetty won the series after suffering racist jibes from Jade Goody and S Club 7's Jo O'Meara.
Ulrika Jonsson – 2009
CBB took a two year break after the racist controversy over 'Shilpa Poppadom'. Ulkria Jonsson was the only female housemate to make it to the final when the series returned in 2009, but went on to take the title despite being nominated for the most evictions by her fellow housemates.
Alex Reid – 2010
Mixed martial artist Alex Reid, aka the 'Reidernator', won the competition in 2010 becoming the final contestant to win Celebrity Big Brother when it was on Channel 4.

Paddy Doherty – 2011
Irish traveller and reality TV show star Paddy Doherty beat Kerry Katona to win the first CBB on Channel 5.
Denise Welch – January 2012
The actress and TV presenter took the title after beating Gareth Thomas, Natalie Cassidy and MC Romeo among others.
Julian Clary – September 2012
Comedian Julian Clary won the competition six months after Denise Welch, beating her fellow former Loose-Women panelist Coleen Nolan. MC Harvey, Martin Kemp and Jersey Shore's 'The Situation' also took part.
Rylan Clark – January 2013
The king of reality TV unsurprisingly scooped the crown one year after appearing on The X Factor.
Charlotte Crosby – September 2013
The Geordie Shore star made headlines when she wet the bed live on national TV. But the British public forgave her and voted her the winner.
Jim Davidson – January 2014
Jim Davidson beat an eclectic mix of contestants to win the public vote, despite a number of sexual abuse allegations made against the comedian earlier in the year.
Gary Busey – September 2014
Oscar-nominated US actor Gary Busey won the last series, not that anyone knew. The 14th series of Celebrity Big Brother received its lowest ratings to date.
