Following her departure from the Celebrity Big Brother house due to feeling 'unwell for a few days', Angie Bowie appeared on Loose Women to discuss her experience with the show.

Former spouse of the late David Bowie, she was in the house when the news of his death broke, with the show receiving heavy criticism when it aired footage of her receiving the news.

"You unscramble the reality that they are data harvesting for sorrow and chaos," Angie said of the show's heavy atmosphere. "I did not expect anything. It did not occur to me that they would not lighten it up with good stuff."

She did, however, reaffirm that she left the house due to illness, and not because she was "upset at Big Brother or anyone".

"I couldn't believe it, I thought I would die first," she reflected. "Let me take this opportunity to say, that I think he staged his passing rather well."

"Our rancour with each other almost kept us going and I realised I wasn't angry anymore." She continued, before reflecting on how Bowie's passing had somewhat changed her attitude to the musical legacy he left behind. "Those 8 albums, of the time we were together, are particularly close to my heart."
