This year’s Celebrity Big Brother has already been riddled with numerous controversies, mainly in thanks to Stephen Bear and Christopher Biggins.

However, on Monday evening, Marnie Simpson and Lewis Bloor grabbed headlines after taking a shower together and kissing.

After the shower, Simpson exposed her naked body to the camera, leading to complaints on both Twitter and to Ofcom. In the same episode, Bear and Chloe Khan were spotted in a toilet together, leading to yet more complaints and one publication to ask 'is this the most shocking episode ever?'.

Ofcom has since revealed they have received 54 complaints about the episode, 34 of which centred on the shower controversy. The regulatory body told The Sun: "We have received 54 complaints about Celebrity Big Brother from last night. We will assess these complaints before deciding whether to investigate or not.”

Following the shower, Simpson told the show’s Diary Room: “I just had the most romantic shower in my life! I would never do anything more than shower with him and kiss him.

“I’ve never had a boy treat me how he treats me. I feel so lucky. He is just perfect. I don’t ever want to leave this house!”
