Adam Sandler and Jimmy Fallon perform 'Don't Touch Grandma'

Adam Sandler and Jimmy Fallon have performed a new comic song on the latest episode of The Tonight Show, entitled “Don’t Touch Grandma”.

Recorded from the safety of the comedians’s own separate homes amid the coronavirus pandemic, “Don’t Touch Grandma” offers some helpful advice to help prevent the virus spreading.

“Don’t touch grandma, leave her alone,” go the lyrics. “You can spend a quarter to call her on the phone.”

“Don’t touch grandma, give her some space / even if your grandma wants to go to second base.”

Another line goes: “When this thing is over, you and she can still play / But for now, you still can smell her grandma smell from six feet away.”

Sandler has previously performed a song about the coronavirus quarantine on The Tonight Show, in which he paid tribute to the work of frontline medical staff during the crisis.

Before becoming one of the world’s most commercially successful film stars, Sandler started out as a musical comedian, and would regularly perform comic songs of his own devising.

The Happy Gilmore actor recently received critical acclaim for his role in the Netflix-distributed drama Uncut Gems, winning an Independent Spirit Award for his portrayal of gambling-addicted diamond dealer Howard Ratner.
