Coronavirus: Roseanne Barr says pandemic is a plot ‘to get rid of all my generation’

‘It could be what some people call the rapture, absolutely,’ the TV star said in an interview with Norm MacDonald

Roseanne Barr has spoken out about the coronavirus pandemic while appearing on Norm MacDonald’s YouTube talk show Quarantined with Norm MacDonald.

In the episode, the former Roseanne star sensationally describes the virus as a plot to kill Baby Boomers.

“You know what it is Norm?” she says. “I think they’re just trying to get rid of all my generation. The boomer ladies that, you know, that inherited their, you know, are widows. [sic] They inherited the money so they got to go wherever the money is and figure out a way to get it from people.”

“I think we’re being forced to evolve,” says Barr at another point, referring to the effects of the coronavirus. When MacDonald makes a joke about the rapture, Barr says: “Well, it could be what some people call the rapture, absolutely.”

In the meandering 15-minute video, Barr also announces that she has been working on a lawsuit – against all of Hollywood.

“I have the time now to research and come up with the perfect lawsuit,” says Barr, adding that she has spent time planning since the cancellation of her sitcom so she can ”f*** over everybody in the f***ing world over there”.

The seminal TV actor and comedian has a history of making inflammatory statements.

In May 2018, Barr was sacked from the revival of Roseanne by ABC after posting a racist tweet about former White House official Valerie Jarrett, in which she likened Jarrett to an ape.
