Finding out who killed Lucy may have been the obvious climax of last night’s EastEnders episodes, but poor old Dot’s arrest also led to a flood of Twitter memes.

Walford’s popular character, played by 88-year-old June Brown, was taken away in a police car on Thursday after confessing to the murder of her son Nick.
