Hilaria Baldwin has revealed the name of the sixth child she has welcomed with her husband Alec Baldwin.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Hilaria wrote: “We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia. Just like your brothers and sisters, you are a dream come true.”

She accompanied her words with a photo of the baby, whose arrival she and Alec announced on Monday.

The pair have five other children together. Hilaria gave birth to a son called Eduardo in September 2020.

Following the announcement that the couple had welcomed a sixth child, some speculated on whether they had used a surrogate or gone through adoption.

Alec recently responded to an Instagram user who echoed those questions.

The exchange appears to no longer be visible on the social media platform, but according to a screenshot published by The Sun, an Instagram user commented: “Who’s the mother? She wasn’t pregnant. She gave birth six months ago. ...If you don’t want to say anything – why don’t you both stop constantly posting and begging for clickbait. Just raise you 100 children in private.”

Alec replied: “You should shut the f*** up and mind your own business.”

Hilaria returned to Instagram on 5 February after taking a month off the social media platform following a controversy surrounding her heritage.

“I’ve spent the last month listening, reflecting, and asking myself how I can learn and grow. My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a true sense of belonging to both,” she wrote in her first post back from hiatus.

“The way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained – I should have been more clear and I’m sorry. I'm proud of the way I was raised, and we’re raising our children to share the same love and respect for both.”
