Always on the relentless search for drama, the producers of I'm A Celebrity are hoping to fly Joey Essex's former fiancé Sam Faiers into the jungle, according to reports.

The move would come just in time to scupper any chances of a likely romance for The Only Way Is Essex star and Miss Universe GB model Amy Willerton.

Joey is reportedly on good terms with Sam following their split in May this year, but his 22-year-old ex has admitted to contemplating a reunion.

"I wouldn't rule out getting back with him - when he's grown up a bit," she said earlier this year.

However, a tweet posted by Sam this morning seems to dispel rumours of the show's plans, with the reality star writing that she is "going to ignore all the mags and papers".

Oblivious to the will-she-won't-she speculation, Amy gives Joey a back massage in tonight's show as the pair become even more nauseating.

Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington, 24, openly finds their sexual tension uncomfortable. "It's so awkward for me and Steve watching you two. I feel like I'm watching porn with my parents," she tells them.

But presenters Ant and Dec are, of course, keen for the couple to continue flirting. "I think they are attracted to each other for a number of reasons: they are the same age, they have the same colour teeth, they have the same colour tan and they have the same wavy hair! Plus, they tend to gravitate towards each other," noted Dec.

However will Rebecca, let alone Amy, react should Sam march in to make things just that little bit more awkward?
