Long-running US quiz show Jeopardy! is currently holding a ‘Power Players’ week, and though Louis C.K. might not seem like the kind of guy who would willingly be a ‘celebrity contestant’, be a ‘celebrity contestant’ he did.
The comedian was as uncomfortable and affable as ever on the show, looking quite embarrassed about easily beating competitors Kate Bolduan and Jonathan Capeheart.
“This game was a runaway for Louis, he couldn’t be caught” said host Alex Trebak. Comedy tends to go hand-in hand with intelligence, so his win wasn’t hugely surprising.
Louis won $50,000 for his charity, The Fistula Foundation, which helps women in poor countries who have been injured during childbirth.
