We're all partial to a dose of nostalgia now and then; which is perhaps why the streaming giant decided to indulge those leanings and create one of the ultimate throwbacks.

Yes, Netflix is bringing back the mixtape; the grand art of sharing what you love between friends, or attempting to woo a potential lover with a supreme display of cultural taste - the perfect aid for making all those Netflix and Chill dreams come to fruition.

The streaming giant has launched Flixtape, which allows users to create their own binge-watching playlists of TV and film picks to either engulf on their own or send to friends and loved ones. With so much to choose from, it's great to know that there's an automatic suggestion system in place to help you in your mission.

All you need to do is type in what you're after, say "Secret Agent Dogs", and you'll be offered an immediate suggestion list; or you can let Netflix inspire you with a whole number of options for themes, including "Jokes That Go There" or "Rockumentaries".

At the moment, you can add up to six titles onto your Flixtape; which can consist of movies, TV specials, or TV shows in their entirety - though not individual episodes.

You can create your own Flixtape here.
