Only days after Friends star Matt Le Blanc was named Chris Evans’s co-host of the new Top Gear show, a third presenter has been linked to the show.
According to a report by The Guardian, ex-Formula One boss and BBC sports presenter Eddie Jordan is ‘set to be named’ as the next presenter.
The 67-year-old has apparently been friends with Chris Evans for years, and his technical knowledge of cars will be an asset to the show.
Jordan is expected to be the third part of a five person presenting team, with fellow petrol-heads Sabine Schmitz and Chris Harris thought to be joining the previously announced presenters.

After being announced as a Top Gear host, Le Blanc said: “As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I'm honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show's new chapter. What a thrill!”
The all-new Top Gear show is thought to be struggling to get up-and-running after numerous set-backs, such as ex-producer Lisa Clark leaving the show.
It has also been claimed that Chris Evans cannot ‘talk and drive at the same time’ and also gets ‘car sick’. You can read everything we know about the new Top Gear show here.
Meanwhile, ex-presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are currently working on their Amazon Prime show, having left the BBC after Clarkson was in an infamous ‘fracas’ with a fellow BBC worker.
