Former Top Gear Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James Ma y have been nominated for three TV Choice Awards despite the final three episodes of the show being postponed following Clarkson’s “fracas” on set.
Filming on the BBC Two motoring show was suspended after Clarkson was dismissed by the BBC for punching producer Oisin Tymon on set in a row over the lack of hot food in March.
The final three episodes were later shows in June, with the Top Gear series finale attracting 5.8 million viewers.
Clarkson, Hammond and May have signed a £160 million deal with Amazon Prime to host a new motoring show, while Chris Evans has been drafted in to fill Clarkson’s shoes when the BBC Two show returns later this year.

Dermot O’Leary Being a “safe pair of hands”, as Dermot has proved on The X Factor, is one thing – but unless the BBC secretly wants to kill off its troublesome export milch cow, then that’s the very last thing Top Gear needs. Lenny Henry will host the ceremony, with TV personalities such as Mary Berry, Susanna Reid, Sheridan Smith and David Tennant due to make an appearance at London’s Hilton Park Lane hotel tonight.
