Two minutes of The Bachelor staring at nothing

What are you thinking about, Ben Higgins?

Season 20 of The Bachelor has ended, with this year's Bachelor Ben Higgins handing his final rose to the supposed woman of his dreams. Or at least, the woman closest to his dreams as chosen by a panel of reality show producers.

It should be noted the final episode was somehow three hours, though. Can we just take a moment to let that fact sink in? Three hours of everyone's life was spent on this not particularly interesting guy choosing between two not particularly interesting gals.

Which meant the show could certainly pack in what it loves doing best: shots of Ben staring thoughtfully into the distance as he struggles with his epic decision of which woman, out of a choice of nearly 30, he should date for a short while before probably dumping.

Self-professed fan Jimmy Kimmel thus presented a two-minute edit on his late night talk show of Ben, simply, staring at absolutely nothing. Thinking about, maybe nothing.

"One of my favourite parts of the Bachelor is when, you know when he's just staring into the distance? He's just kind of looking and, presumably, thinking?" Kimmel announced. "We put together this very moving montage of Bachelor Ben staring... at nothing."

Ah, the great existential anguish that is being The Bachelor.
