The Walking Dead season 7: Norman Reedus says Negan will leave everyone in the show 'completely broken'

'It affects the group completely differently'

As any The Walking Dead fan will tell you, season six ended on an entirely frustrating cliffhanger, refusing to show who Negan killed in the finale.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays the villain, currently features on the front of Entertainment Weekly’s latest, the magazine holding information within which reveals a lot about season seven.

Interestingly, Norman Reedus, AKA Daryl Dixon, spoke to the publication about what’s in store for Rick Grimes and his motley crew, detailing how they will react to Negan killing 'someone'. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t sound good.

“It affects the group completely differently. You know, everyone, it affects them differently. Some relinquish power. Some accept it. Some fight it. There are people questioning it. There are people pointing their fingers. There are people blaming themselves.

“Other things happen that completely destroy people. The group is completely broken apart at this point. Negan has come in and completely shaken up everything.

“Loyalties are broken, belief in one another, belief in ourselves. Each individual is completely broken, and they don’t all handle it the exact same way.”

In the same feature, Morgan teased how the arrival of his character will "reset the world” of The Walking Dead, which Reedus seemingly agrees with.

Meanwhile, the first trailer for the new season was shown at Comic-Con 2016 last month, including a first look at The Kingdom’s leader King Ezekiel (Khary Payton).
