If the moment which saw Morgan attack Jesus over their differing ideologies wasn't enough, a moment towards the episode's climax seemed to hint at one bigger and far more surprising rivalry.
It all started during the showdown between Rick and Morales, the season 1 character who made a surprise reappearance at the end of episode 2. As Rick was weighing up a way out of the situation that wouldn't end with someone dead, Daryl fired an arrow into their old friend's head, visibly shocking a shaken Rick.

Towards the end of the episode, another moment hintes at a future conflict between Rick and his right-hand man: they come across a lone Saviour and Rick offers him his life in exchange for some information.
The man abides, telling them what they want to know. As Rick is about to grant him his freedom, Daryl shoots him point blank in the head.

Speaking about the episode's events on discussion series The Talking Dead, Norman Reedus - who plays Daryl - told host Chris Hardwicke stated "there might be a conflict coming."
Rick clearly battles with himself to keep quiet but it seems like this particular showdown will lie dormant until another episode.
This wasn't the only foreshadowing featured in the episode with the addition of new baby character Gracie inspiring a rather disturbing theory hinting at the show's most dustuurbing plot twist yet.
