Will & Grace took on Donald Trump in the first episode of its revival which aired in the US yesterday (28 September).

Among other moments, the NBC sitcom - which reunited original stars Debra Messing, Will McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes - sent up the President's skin tone (cheetos) as well as his campaign slogan re-imagining it as “Make America Gay Again.”

The premiere episode saw Karen (Megan Mullally) - revealed in last year's ten-minute short to be a Trump voter - help Grace (Debra Messing) win the opportunity to redesign the White House's Oval Office. In these scenes, Trump's desk items included a fidget spinner and Russian-to-English dictionary.

Additionally, while in the Office, Karen can be seen assuming the role of advisor Kellyanne Conway in the infamous 'texting photo.'

A comedic footnote revealed towards the end of the episode sees Grace leave a present for Trump on his chair: a “Make America Gay Again” hat.

Fans expressed their delight at the moment on Twitter with many preempting words from the President himself.

The Will & Grace revival follows last year's ten-minute short which was designed to drum up votes for Hillary Clinton. The new series is yet to be picked up in the UK.
