The sim-free, 128gb model has a curved edge screen and no home button for an uninterrupted viewing experience, with only a small dot for the front camera. Nintendo Switch Lite + Minecraft: Was £218.99, now £199
The Lite version of the hugely popular Nintendo Switch console is on sale this Prime Day. The bundle comes with Minecraft, a game that’s all about crafting weapons and armour to fend off your enemies, and the device is in the shade coral.
While the original Switch console is designed to connect to your TV, despite its portability, the lite version is designed for hand-held use only.
The Independent’s technology editor and avid gamer, Andrew Griffin, describes the Nintendo Switch Lite as “a cheaper and lighter version [of the original] that can be carried around. It will suit anyone on a budget, with limited space or who never wants to play it on their TV anyway.”
Bang & Olufsen beoplay portable bluetooth speaker: Was £179.99, now £124.99
The experts at Bang & Olufsen know a thing or two about sound, and this model landed a spot in our review of the best bluetooth speakers for its impressive volume and sound quality.
Our tester said: “The beautifully crafted A1 is small but it still sounds great. It has decent 360-degree sound and a bigger, bassier sound than you would expect from the size – it can fill a room. The volume is pretty punchy, too. It’s splash and dust-resistant so you can take it most places, though it’s not fully waterproof.”
