The Programme, week 2: Trainer's comments on Alex
Neal Chamberlain: Alex has found his cycling programme a useful way to structure his CV workout. He is also finding the strength exercises challenging and will be stepping up the reps and weights before long. Alex is also relishing the opportunity to become more flexible and reap the the benefits of improving his core strength, which is already improving.
Alex really needs to be working to fatigue in his strength programme, as by doing this he will make sure he gets the most out of his exercises. This will break down his muscle fibre sufficiently - rebuilding it will bring about the improvements in his strength and definition.
