My interest in gardening translates to a few plants on a windy balcony and a fondness for Gardeners' Question Time. But every year my interest is piqued when the Chelsea Flower Show rolls into town. In my mind I'd dawdle idly around sipping champagne and Pimm's before returning home laden with seedlings and inspiration.
