In time for the release of Eat Pray Love, directed by Ryan Murphy ( Glee), fashion designer Sue Wong will launch a luxurious ready-to-wear collection inspired by the film starring Julia Roberts in theaters August 13.

The special limited edition collection will be available in US department stores, such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, and their online stores.

Some items will be sold exclusively through the Home Shopping Network's television channel HSN, when it devotes August 6-8 to an Eat Pray Love theme, featuring items from locales in the story - Italy, India, and Bali. Sue Wong's collection will be joined by Naeem Khan and Ranjana Khan clothing, and jewelry by Top Chef star Padma Lakshmi.

Sue Wong's collection reflects the India and Indonesian locales in the film. Known for her gowns, this is her first-ever separates. Wong's designs conjure Hollywood glamour and romance. She also created a Walt Disney signature line for Alice in Wonderland.

Two in the line include "Java" and "Ubud" feature "Cocoon" coats and tops embellished in beads and gold embroidery with silk pajama pants and skirts.

"I was able to create a collection that was striking, exotic, and timeless, and organic to the journey in the book and forthcoming film," said Wong in a press release.

The film is based on the bestselling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert about her year-long journey around the world and her quest to change her life. It also stars Javier Bardem and James Franco.

DogEared Jewelry which created a Sex & the City line is also designing jewelry influenced by the film, including beaded necklaces and bracelets.
