Kim Kardashian, Kirsten Dunst and Cara Delevingne were just some of the stars who attended the Art + Film gala event decked in their finest black tie gowns at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday.

The red carpet was rolled out at the museum for the annual fundraising event with this year's event honouring Quentin Tarantino and Barbara Kruger.

Frida Giannini served as the Committee Chair of the Gala meaning Gucci, the label she is creative director at, was the designer of choice for many of the guests at the event.

From Jennifer Lopez' plunging neckline dress, to Salma Hayek in a white halterneck design - almost every star was decked out in Gucci.

Guests at the event were surprised when Boy George and Culture Club took to the stage for a surprise performance.

The event coincides with the launch of a new exhibition at the museum, this years is: Haunted Screens: German Cinema in the 1920s.
