Would you pay £454 for this backpack?

Jeremy Scott's Moschino shows are not exactly known for being low-key and last night the designer offered up a spring/summer 2016 collection dubbed "construction couture." Think road signs, hi-vis jackets, car washes, traffic cones and headlights.

If that all sounds like something that is up your street you're in luck, because many of the standout clothing and accessories are available to buy right now but they won't come in cheap.

A designer bag is a big investment for many, so splashing out the best part of £500 on a backpack that comes in the shape and design of washing powder may seem a little bit bizarre.

There's also an iPhone case which is shaped like a bottle of cleaning fluid (that'll set you back £55 but you might be too late, it's already sold out on Moschino's website though Harvey Nichols' Knightsbridge store has the collection in stock from today).

Other pieces include a a road sign evening dress for the bargain price of £765 or a clutch bag in a similar design for £320.

Heavily themed collections are par for the course with Scott, previous collections for the label have been based around Barbie and the Looney Tunes.

Available in store at the Knightsbridge Harvey Nichols from today and online at harveynichols.com from 27th September.
