Iconic bus tour's makeover to celebrate new chocolate flavours

Godiva brought a free chocolate-fuelled sunset adventure tour to Londoners for one night only

London’s iconic bus tours had a plush makeover courtesy of luxury Belgian chocolatier Godiva.

To mark the launch of its new Wonderful City Dreams collection, Godiva treated some lucky passengers to an exclusive journey through some of the capital’s most iconic sights at sunset.

Throughout the first class journey, passengers took in some of the capital’s best loved sights – from Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly, to Notting Hill and Westminster.

The Wonderful City Dreams collection featured an indulgent selection of treats inspired by some of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities.

On board, guests were also be able to indulge in a sumptuous selection of dishes inspired by the cities featured in the new collection: New York, Brussels, Tokyo, Shanghai and London.

The menu included: Cucumber and mint, or lamb and mint finger sandwiches to represent London; Brussels was represented by mini gaufres (waffles) and traditional boulet liege; for Shanghai, vegetarian and chicken spring rolls were served; and lastly, sushi rolls were served to symbolise the iconic cuisine of Tokyo.

Guests also made a pit stop at the chocolatier’s Regent Street boutique, where they hopped off and enjoyed a chocolate tasting and dipping masterclass, hosted by Godiva’s esteemed chocolatiers.
