Chocs away as Dairy Milk shrinks
It has been a common complaint: chocolate bars perennially seem to be getting smaller. Now Cadbury has admitted it is cutting the size of its Dairy Milk bar by two squares despite the price remaining the same.
The company, recently taken over by Kraft, blamed "economic reasons" for the decision to downsize a 140g bar of Dairy Milk to 120g. Cadbury said the cost of ingredients was rising and it had to either make the bar smaller or put up the price.
