From France…..

Champagne Billecart-Salmon Rose

Sometimes, the only drink required is a really top quality ‘pink’ oozing refinement and sophistication. Step forward the Billecart-Salmon, from one of Champagnes most prestigious houses: bone dry but plenty of fruit flavours, some hints of nuts and toasted brioche. A seductive indulgence. Both listed suppliers can deliver by Tuesday.

From England

Balfour 1503 Oast House Rosé

The romantic and typically English Hush Heath estate in Kent, which makes the wonderful Balfour Brut rose sparkling has developed this much less expensive range for M&S, but which still displays the estate’s typically elegant characteristics of glorious hedgerow aromas and balanced fruit flavours, underpinned with vibrant, fresh acidity. Gorgeous with fishy canapés or smoked salmon.

From New Zealand

Cloudy Bay Pelorus Rose NV

The Kiwi makers of one of the world’s finest Sauvignon Blancs are now part owned by Champagne house Veuve Clicquot and so there is a coupling of Old World expertise with New World exhuberance in this Pinot Noir dominated blend, with very forward cherry-like fruit flavours and some spicier notes. Recommended for sushi and sashimi, but particularly good with grilled prawns or langoustines.
