RockMelt, which combines social networking and internet browsing, was top of this week's Google Insights trends. Video game Black Ops and writer Robert Louis Stevenson were also popular search terms.

New internet browser RockMelt was at the top of this week's Google Insights trends. RockMelt's selling point is the integration of social networks such as Facebook and Twitter into the browser. These sites and others are permanently displayed down each side of the window so that they are accessible no matter what site the user is on. The browser is also fully backed by the cloud system, meaning that users' personal browsing configurations can be accessed from anywhere. The RockMelt system is still being perfected but potential users can sign up for a trial at www.rockmelt.com.

Robert Louis Stevenson was second in this week's Google Insights trends. The Scottish writer famous for such books as Treasure Island and Kidnapped would have celebrated his 160th birthday Saturday, November 13; Google marked the occasion with a "Google doodle" featuring a pirate ship and a chest of gold.

The highly anticipated video game Black Ops was released on November 11 and quickly became the highest grossing entertainment launch ever and the third most popular topic on Google Insights.

Also among this week's Google Insight trends were the search terms "ehliyet sinav sonuclari," a Turkish expression meaning driver's license exam,  the Brazilian federal tax service "Receita Federal," and American rapper Wiz Khalifa, who was recently recruited to appear on rapper Snoop Dogg's new album, reportedly called, Doggumentary Music.
