Current Twitter trends: Conan O'Brien returns, 'Call of Duty'

TVs are turned on and microbloggers are typing as comedian Conan O'Brien (or as his fans like to call him, Coco) returns to the small screen with Conan, a new show on American TV network TBS.

"#conanreturns" is the number one topic on Twitter at 7:30 AM GMT on November 9. Not content with just one trending topic, Twitter users are also using #teamcoco (in fourth place), "Watching Conan" (in tenth place) and the name of the show's first musical guest "Jack White" (in sixth place) to talk about Conan.

"I'm loving #Conan. I feel like all is right in world again," "Congrats on the 1st show, it was brilliant and simply classic Conan. Couldn't have had it any other way" and "Welcome back Conan - please keep the beard. It is glorious in HD" tweet users.

#confessiontime remains unchanged in second place while the name of American rapper "Wiz" Khalifa has shot into third place after his recent arrest.

Video game "COD Black," short for " Call of Duty: Black Ops," is in fifth place, "President Bush" is in eighth place and social browser "RockMelt" is in ninth place.
