On the morning of December 31 Twitter users are sharing their New Year's resolutions with the hashtag "#MyResolution."

"#myresolution is waaaay longer than 140 characters," "#MyResolution is to stop caring soo much. Don't stress about what you can't control" and "#MyResolution is to be a better person" write microbloggers.

"#2010was" moves up one place to number two, "#toast" is new in third place and "#youlookgoodbut" moves down two places to number four.

"Damon Salvatore," a character from American TV show The Vampire Diaries, is in fifth place, American singer "RazB" is in sixth place, the Spanish name of Twilight character Edward Cullen ("Eduardo Cullen") is in ninth place and the misspelled name of American university Stanford ("Standford") is in tenth place.

Portuguese speakers on Twitter are using the phrase "ULTIMA MADRUGADA" ("last night" in English) to talk about their New Year's Eve plans.

Fans of Korean pop music are tweeting about an end of the year show called Gayo Daejun with eighth place term "MBC Gayo." The show is due to air on Korean TV on December 31.
