A pre-order page on the GAME website has spoiled the upcoming Batman reveal, showing the name, title and boxart for Rocksteady's next title, Arkham Knight.

UPDATE: The trailer has been released, scroll down to watch it

Priced at £49.99, the game will be Rocksteady's third Batman title, following Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, with 2013's Arkham Origins having been developed by WB Montreal.

The Batmobile features prominently on the box art, suggesting it will be driveable in the game, while Scarecrow is expected to be the main villain.

A release date has yet to be stated, with extra Harley Quinn content being promised for customers that pre-order.

Rumours have circulated for some time about a new Rocksteady Batman game, after voice actor Kevin Conroy let slip that he was working on a new Arkham game that wasn't Origins.

While the Arkham games feel rooted in the darkness of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, the Caped Crusader's next outing on the big screen will be in Zach Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, Superman vs. Batman.
