'Spring is crullest curlie ungood time, and plantz grow dull roots so we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry to skedule schedlue plan… we’re freee anytime. We’ll find you.'

So goes the press announcement from an 'unidentified' spokesperson as EA and PopCap confirmed that for Plants Vs. Zombies 2 is in production and slated for a Spring 2013 release. The sequel will apparently include a ‘bevy of new features, settings, and situations.’ Though as of yet any specifics have yet to be unveiled.

Plants Vs. Zombies 2 represents the first fully-fledged title that PopCap have announced since its acquisition by EA in July 2011. No platform details for Plants Vs. Zombies 2 have been announced so far, but with the original making its way iOS formats first before expanding out to a variety of other platforms including Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and PC it seems safe to assume that the sequel will follow a similar pattern.
