Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V will hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 18 November, 2014 and released a trailer for it, with GTA Online getting bigger and story mode getting graphical improvements, new activities and environment changes.

The next gen version "will feature a range of major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever," Rockstar said, with a PC release to follow on 27 January 2015.

Along with increased draw distances and higher resolution, players can expect:

- New activities (oooo)

- New weapons (meh)

- New vehicles (I'm listening)

- Additional wildlife (bears please!)

UPDATE: The trailer is here! Killer whales, LEG HAIR and more

- Denser traffic (ugggh)

- New foliage system (hopefully you can still hide from police in the bushes)

- Enhanced damage and weather effects (cool)

- Radio stations to get 100 new songs and a load more DJ mixes (the existing ones were getting a bit tired in Online)

GTA Online

- Increased player count (up to 30 players)

Transferring from current Xbox 360 to Xbox One/PS3 to PS4

- All your Online characters and progression can be easily moved across

- You'll also get rare versions of classic vehicles from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable Blimp, activities, including wildlife photography; and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.

Everyone that pre-orders the game will get $1,000,000 of in-game cash to spend across story mode and Online.
