Facebook posts appear to be deleting themselves, even after people have posted them.

Numerous people report they have shared an update on their page, only to find that it has disappeared after it has been posted.

On Facebook's developer pages, users are reporting that the messages vanish within minutes after being seen by some people, and go away without a trace.

The problem only appears to be affecting some Facebook pages, and some kinds of posts.

It appears to be impossible to see whether the post has disappeared without checking manually.

Even the most minor problems at the site can be huge on Facebook, since it used by more than a billion people.
