The game already seems to be available to those in some timezones

The Fifa 16 demo is about to be released — and it's already available to some.

The demo will be available between September 8 and September 10.

On the Xbox, it seems that the game is being released as the date changes to the 8th, depending on local timezones. On the PlayStation 4, it is expected to go online at some point during the evening of September 7 and 8, since the PlayStation Store is only updated at certain times.

Eventually, the demo will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One — all the same consoles that will get the eventual release, in late September, though the Xbox 360 and PS3 won't get all of the new features.

EA said in its update about the demo that “The launch of the FIFA 16 Demo varies depending on platform and location”.

Because it is location-dependent, some on the internet are pointing out that it’s possible to get hold of it already, even for users outside of countries like New Zealand that got it first. By registering a new online account in one of those countries, the download becomes available on the console.

The demo allows players to try the game out with a very limited number of teams and stadiums.

It allows players to try Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Chelsea FC, Inter, Milan, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid CF, River Plate and Seattle Sounders. The two women’s teams from Germany and the United States will also be available.

Players will also be able to try out Borussia-Park, the CenturyLink Field and Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu.
