The endless wastelands of Fallout: New Vegas continue to entertain and independent game Amnesia benefits from the seasonal celebrations in this week's PC download charts.

No room for Call of Duty: Black Ops, despite a November 9 worldwide debut for what is shaping up to be the year's biggest video game release.

Instead, discounts on horrors, thrillers, and zombie games stack up to keep it at bay.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent was the most obvious beneficiary, as Frictional Games slashed its price to half price on their own website, with the big download portals following suit.

GamersGate, Steam, and Impulse all embraced the cut price horror, with it climbing back to tenth place on Steam, and into the top 5 on both GamersGate and Impulse.

Other Halloween offers included Metro 2033, Left 4 Dead 2, and Fort Zombie.
