Nicolas Cage has filed for an annulment four days after getting married, according to court records.

The 55-year-old submitted an application for annulment on Wednesday, just four days after he and girlfriend, makeup artist Erika Koike, tied the knot, court documents filed in Clark County,Nevada, show.

Cage has requested a divorce if an annulment isn't possible.

The couple filed for a marriage license in Las Vegas on Saturday and received their marriage certificate the same day.

Cage and Koike have managed to keep their relationship relatively low-key, having only been spotted together a handful of times.

They were photographed on holiday together in Puerto Rico in April 2018 and again in May while out for dinner in Los Angeles.

The Face Off actor has been married three times before. He married his first wife, actor Patricia Arquette, in April 1995 but the two later divorced in 2001.

Following their split, he married Lisa Marie Presley – the daughter of Elvis Presley – in August 2002 and filed for divorce in November of that year. The separation was finalised in 2004.

Cage went on to marry Alice Kim, a waitress working at a restaurant he frequented, in 2004.

The couple had a child together named Kal-El in 2005 but separated in January 2016.

Cage also has another child, Weston, who was born in 1990 to the actor’s then-girlfriend, Christina Fulton.
