If you've heard people talking about the cult TV show Breaking Bad but never seen an episode, you can now download the first-ever one for free.

Blinkbox, the no-subscription streaming service owned by Tesco, is offering a "Try TV On Us" promotion this month, with 28 first episodes or pilots on offer. If you prefer sitcoms, there's New Girl and How I Met Your Mother, while other drama shows in the offer include Sherlock and Endeavour.

Ease the financial strain when you travel by train

Until 24 February, families can get £10 off a Family & Friends Railcard that will help them cut the cost of going by train.

Anyone buying a one-year Railcard using the code HALFTERM10 at www.railcard.co.uk/halfterm will save £10 off the normal £30 price of a one-year card. With a Family & Friends Railcard, you can get a third off most adult rail fares and 60 per cent off kids' fares.

Cinema chain lays on the cheap seats for half term

Vue Cinemas has a range of offers and discounts this February half term.

The deals run from Friday 14 to Sunday 23 February and include tickets from £1.75 for 2D films and from £3 for 3D films.

On "Super Tuesday", film fans will be offered up to a third off tickets at all 82 Vue cinemas nationwide.
