British Airways launched its "Goodbye Winter" sale this month, with savings on flights and package holidays around the world. Return flights from Heathrow to New York JFK are available for £376, while flights and a seven-night stay at the three-star Coconut Court Beach Hotel in Barbados are now £549. The bargains extend to exotic locations such as Lusaka in Zambia and Bangalore in India, but also include city breaks in Barcelona, Rome and Bordeaux. Bookings need to be made before 24 January. For the third year in a row, Amazon.co.uk is running a January offer on Karrimor footwear and outdoor clothing. Men's Bodmin II Mid Weathertite walking boots have been reduced from £85 to £26.26, while the women's version is down from £85 to £18.89. Asos offers deep fashion discounts

The Asos January sale continues, with discounts of up to 70 per cent and free delivery across the fashion retailer's website. Women's and men's clothing, shoes and accessories are included, with woman's £25 lace tops on sale at £10, woman's parka jackets down from £70 to £28, and men's short-sleeve shirts cut from £20 to £8.

Selfridges' sale does it with style
