There's free beer up for grabs in this week's Bargain Hunter competition. But it's not just any beer: it's a brand new, unfiltered, 6.5 per cent India pale ale from the craft beer specialist And Union.

The copper-coloured beer is called Friday and is brewed in Bavaria over a 10-week period. Bargain Hunter has tried it and can confirm it's certainly got a taste to it.

And Union specialises in small-batch, unfiltered, unpasteurised beers. They are normally sold in retailers such as Wholefoods but readers can be in with a chance of getting a free crate of 12 bottles of Friday – worth around £40 – by answering a simple question.

The question: what was the name of the American cop series of the 1950s, later made into a 1980s movie, which followed the fortunes of Sergeant Joe Friday?

Send the answer by next Thursday, 21 May, to yourmoney@independent.co.uk.
