Sainsbury's has a number of fantastic television offers running this weekend, with up to £200 off big name brands in store and online. Fully HD televisions in the sale include an Emotion 40'', reduced from £499.99 to just £299.99, a Toshiba 32BV700 32'' with built-in Freeview, down from £329.99 to £249.99 and a Sharp LC22LE22E 22'', was £229.99 not £169.99. The sale runs until 14 June.

Beauty at Boots

There's 75 per cent off Ruby & Millie cosmetics in Boots stores and at Boots.com at the moment. The offer is set to run until 29 June, but as stocks are already running fairly low my advice is to call ahead if you're making a trip to an outlet for a particular item. The savings apply to selected eye shadow, mascara, lipstick and more, with top buys including an eyelash curler reduced from £8.68 to £2.17 and an eyeliner, was £10, now £2.50.

Deals on films

A website I recommend bargain hunters pay a visit to is FreeStuffJunction.co.uk. The site is updated on an almost hourly basis with a wide range of freebies which, although the site acts as collator not creator, include numerous low-profile offers that are hard to discover elsewhere. Last week's top offers included a free 30-day LoveFilm trial and free Vodaphone SIM cards so, no matter what your interests, there's bound to be something that'll take your fancy.

It's all in the jeans

Martin Lewis's excellent Money Saving Expert website has discovered an amazing offer on Lee Jeans from Sports Direct. Men and women's jeans can currently be purchased both in store and online for just £5, that's a £35 saving on the £40 RRP. Even with a delivery cost of £3.99 the saving is huge. Those opting to purchase online should head over to http://ind.pn/mgpaBG for women's jeans or http://ind.pn/lY3OPb for men's as soon as possible, as the offer will run only as long as stocks last. j.hall@independent.co.uk.
